The residential estate consists of the compact building volumes “Maria”, “Giulia” and “Sofia” with approximately rectangular ground plans (approx. 34.5 m x 16.5 m). A common underground garage connects the buildings, which rise to a height of 12 m above ground level, each with three upper floors. The solid structures consist of reinforced concrete floors and load-bearing concrete and masonry walls. The two long sides are characterized by a continuous pergola structure consisting of balconies and arcades. These were realized as steel hollow section structures with composite ceilings.
Due to the poor subsoil properties, the building and underground garage were founded on on-site concrete displacement piles (floating piles).
