Zurich invites you

On 28th and 29th of September, Open House Zurich invites you for the fourth time to discover the outstanding architecture of the city on the Limmat. Here you can explore buildings that are otherwise closed to the public and find inspiration and further education in a variety of ways. As always, architects, preservationists and a group of volunteers will offer expert tours of the interior and exterior spaces. The event is also accompanied by numerous events on the subject of architecture and urban development.
We are pleased that among the more than 100 stations in our “home town”, which the programme offers to visit, there are also several buildings where Lüchinger+Meyer were allowed to leave their planning footprints.

The selection follows the event’s claim to present architecture from different periods. As a result, it includes a particularly large number of conversion and restoration projects such as the NZZ Forum (1), the SIA House (19), the high-rise building leading to the Bastei (21), the Kern school complex (56), the vocational school for fashion and design (75) and the Villa Patumbah (103). These are joined by the playful new building Ballet Mécanique (107) in the Seefeld area or the newly opened school building Schütze (73), the planning of which was accompanied by our façade planners.
