Prix Acier – the steel construction award took place in line with the Steelday, on October 31st. We are delighted that the arrival hall of St. Gallen`s railway station can be found under the six awarded projects and has received an appreciation. Our building partners, SBB, the city of St. Gallen, the architects giuliani.hönger, the steel construction company Tuchschmid and Lüchinger+Meyer received the collective award in a festive setting. In particular, the laudatory speech by jury member Peter Berger acknowledged the careful design of the building, its precise planning and the sophisticated implementation at a very high level.
