Architecture with star

Rarely has the presentation of the best architects awards triggered such universal joy at Lüchinger+Meyer as it did this year. All three locations and both departments found one of “their” projects in the field of winners. A total of five stars were awarded to architects for buildings in whose creation Lüchinger+Meyer’s structural or façade designers were actively involved. Two buildings were even among the gold winners. We congratulate all award-winning partners on receiving the “Seal of Approval for Outstanding Architectural Achievement”!

Our facade planners are delighted with the gold star awarded in the category “Conversions & Extensions” to Michael Meier and Marius Hug Architekten for the Römerstrasse project in Baden. The design of the Rothusweg apartment building in Zug by Roman Hutter Architektur was supported by our Lucerne structural engineers, and the Bussy-sur-Moudon community center (public buildings) was created in collaboration between emixi and our Lausanne structural engineering team. Our Zurich structural engineers are particularly pleased with the “gilded” Chliriet school building (educational buildings) by BS+EMI Architektenpartner and the award for the conversion of the south wing of the TAS Tierspital building at the University of Zurich (GFA – Gruppe für Architektur) in the interior design category.
