Topping-out ceremony in Schaan – Hilti campus is growing

For almost eight decades, Hilti products have been providing useful services to builders. At the company headquarters in Schaan, Liechtenstein, the service skewer is currently being turned around in the proverbial sense of the word – here the builders are committed to the ambitious expansion plans of the tool manufacturer. By 2022, two new office buildings and an elaborate surrounding design are to complete the new Hilti Campus. The completion of the shell of the Office Mitte marks an important milestone on the way to the realisation of the campus and gave a good reason to celebrate. Around 230 workplaces will be available here from the end of 2019, and almost as many builders, craftsmen and planners met on 13th of June for the traditional topping-out ceremony, among them representatives of Lüchinger+Meyer, the responsible structural engineering office.

Hilti Executive Board member Jan Doongaji expressed his thanks on behalf of the company to the guests involved in the construction and planning and revealed Hilti’s tense expectations: “Our employees are already looking forward to moving into the new building, which offers attractive office space, state-of-the-art workplaces as well as meeting and retreat zones. Lorenzo Giuliani from the architecture firm giuliani.hönger also praised the partnership between all the players.
Meanwhile, the view across the street shows that the overall project is well on course. The construction of the Office Nord office building, the future workplace for approx. 420 Hilti employees, is already well advanced. The next topping-out ceremony casts its shadow ahead …
