open BIM for Dubai
The world exhibition of Dubai EXPO 2020 is already casting its shadow. The project team led bei OOS, which includes Lüchinger + Meyer, has been involved in the planning of the Swiss pavilion since 2017. Nowadays, the tender phase is completed. The project follows an open BIM-strategy in a consistent manner. Due to its high innovation and international appeal it was awarded with the Arc Award BIM in last autumn. On 23rd of January, the open BIM FORUM 2019 in Lucerne will give us, for the second time, the opportunity to present the pioneering project to a broad expert audience.
The main focus of the event is laying on practical application examples of the BIM processes. Therefore, our speakers Ivo Niederberger and Dragan Komlanov focuses on the challenges which occurred by BIM technology for structural design and demonstrate suggested solutions and concepts which has been developed in teamwork.
