Messeturm completed
One team, one tower! With obvious pride, our involved structural engineers lined up last Thursday for a group photo shoot in and on the new Messeturm in Zurich-Oerlikon. The reason for the collective on-site visit was the traditional topping-out ceremony to mark the completion of the rough construction. It was the occasion for a festive conclusion to the successful partnership with Bauseits Partner, Marti AG, von Ballmoos Partner Architekten, Staufer & Hasler Architekten and the other players involved in planning and construction.
The Messeturm forms the keystone of the WolkenWerk high-rise quartet in the north of Zurich. With the completion of the rough construction of the 80m high solid construction, ten years of involvement of Lüchinger+Meyer in the major Leutschenbach Kopf project come to an end. “Business. At a higher level” awaits the future tenants of the office tower. The 22 floors of the building are to be ready for occupancy by 2024. We wish every success for the finishing process.
