“La Tuilière” shows teeth

Grown up saw-tooth beams, jagged wall panels for the grandstands and an extensive expansion of the boiler on the construction site in the north of Lausanne: it is becoming increasingly clear that a stadium is being built. Due to the advanced shell of the grandstand, the later dimensions of the football stadium can be guessed. The construction of the striking corners – which give the Stade de la Tuilière its very own identity – has also begun.

The work of the structural engineers of Lüchinger+Meyer is soon completed. Our facade planners will then skillfully support the realization of the planned building envelope. By summer 2019, FC Lausanne-Sport should be able to move into its brand-new home ground.
