Double star
We love to see stars. Especially when they decorate our projects as symbols of the “best architects Awards“. The award is presented annually to completed buildings that stand out for their exceptional architectural quality. As always, we eagerly awaited the award ceremony in the summer and once again we can rejoice about two awards for our buildings. The Surber Burri residential building won the renowned blue star in the category for “residential single-family” while the new residential estate at the Eggbühl site showed success in the category for “residential multi-family”. Our structural engineers were involved in both projects.
The characteristics of the two award-winning residential buildings could not be more different. While the Surber Burri residential building by giuliani hönger architekten respectfully blends into the historic setting of the medieval town of Regensberg and offers living space for three parties, the eye-catching clinker brick building by pool Architekten in the quadrangle between Eggbühlstrasse, Jungholzstrasse and Neubrunnenstrasse sets a strong accent in the Oerlikon district and provides 135 flats.
