“Bouquet de chantier” à Lausanne
The first stadium green can be seen at the Stade de la Tuilière in Lausanne. The red bunting tree on the scaffolding high above the stands announces the successful completion of the shell and concrete construction work. On this occasion, the builder invited the public to the “bouquet de chantier” on 18th of June. The planners from Lüchinger+Meyer were happy to mingle with the numerous construction workers to receive the heartfelt thanks of the clients and to look back together on an exciting construction period with many unusual challenges.
In the meantime, the stadium circuit with all spectator tiers, entrances and stairs has been completed, the impressive, sloping corners of the building set the desired design accent and the already installed steel roofing of the main grandstand gives an idea of the later character of the football stadium. Assembly of the remaining roof areas will be continued from August onwards and the supporting structure will be completed by autumn 2019.
