Augenschein in Egnach
The Thurgau municipality of Egnach prepared itself for the school and sports future with a major planning and building effort over several years. Based on an ideas and project competition for school and sports space planning which was decided in 2011, a new secondary school building (2016) and a triple sports hall (2020) were constructed in the village of Neukirch. In addition, the sports field facilities were generously extended.
In the afternoon of the 17th of October, the responsible architects Waeber / Dickenmann / Partner will offer the opportunity to visit the now completed building ensemble or to take a look at it, “AUGENSCHEIN” as the announcement card is titled.
We are pleased to accept the invitation to the Lake Constance community. Lüchinger+Meyer was allowed to carry out the structural design of both buildings through all phases. Now we are looking forward to discover the shell of the buildings, which are characterised by high-quality exposed concrete surfaces and wood-concrete hybrid constructions, in their completed state and “brought to life” by the users.
