With remarkable vigour, the Bauforum Zug leads its members out of the summer holiday laziness. In the first week of September, the association invites members to three events in the “Architecture on Site” series, where outstanding current building projects in Canton Zug are presented. Fortunately, this agenda includes two buildings in the development of which the structural and façade planners from Lüchinger+Meyer played a major role.
On Monday evening, the 2nd of September, client Dr. Hans-Peter Strebel and architect Markus Hotz (Axess Architects) will guide the inclined participants through the OYM Centre of excellence for elite athletics and research, the ambitious sports construction project in Cham, whose completion is already well advanced. The next highlight of the excursion will be the presentation and inspection of the garden high-rise Aglaya on the Suurstoffi site in Rotkreuz on the following Wednesday, 4th of September. In the afternoon from 4 pm onwards, our Daniel Meyer as well as Thomas Rujbr from Ramser Schmid Architects and Susanne Büttner from LORENZ EUGSTER Landscape Architecture and Urban Development will explain the planning focuses of their particular disciplines, followed by a guided tour of the building by representatives of Zug Estates.
