World BioEconomy Forum Roundtable

Hard talk – Easy Access – Relaxed Environment. This proven maxim is followed by the “Roundtables” of the World BioEconomy Forum, the leading global platform for high-level discussions on the circular bioeconomy. In addition to the annual forum, the regular roundtable discussions are important events for global exchange based on four main topics. The next event will be held on 10th of February under the heading “Bioproducts around us” and is explicitly dedicated to the topic of “Wood construction – durable bioproducts”.

This time, Ian Delaroche, professor at the University of British Columbia, architect Andrea Stocchero, researcher Bruno Gorrini, architect Oliver Sterl from the firm RLP Rüdiger Lainer + Partner and Daniel Meyer, office partner at Lüchinger+Meyer, will be seated at the virtual round table. Ludo Diels, member of the advisory board of the World BioEconomy Forum, will moderate the two-hour discussion session. Among other things, the latest innovations in timber construction will be presented, political developments to promote timber construction and the question of the contribution of timber construction to mitigating climate change will be discussed. We look forward to an informative and inspiring discussion.
