We love Guggach!
The project “WANINC” – a collaboration of Lüchinger+Meyer, Donet Schäfer + Tanja Riemer and Weyell Zipse – has won the competition for the new construction of the area Guggach III in Zurich Unterstrass, announced by the contractors “Stiftung Einfach Wohnen” (SEW) and the city of Zurich. The new construction of the area includes a housing complex with 120 flats, a school building with a new dual sports hall as well as the design of a neighborhood park.
By winning this competition, the area will be shaped by Lüchinger-Meyer projects. At the Bucheggplatz we planned the conversion of the Aparthotel Guggach, on the opposite side the residential complex Brunnenhof and the area Guggach II will soon be finished.
From Wednesday, June 27 to Sunday, July 8 there will be a competition exhibition in the community center Buchegg. All 12 competition projects can be reviewed. (Opening hours: Mon-Fr 4pm – 8pm; Sat/Sun 2pm – 6pm)
