When the size of the team suddenly increases significantly and the average age of the office team drops sharply at the same time, this can only mean one thing: Future Day at Lüchinger+Meyer! Yesterday, we were once again delighted to welcome young guests in Zurich and Lausanne, who started the day with plenty of vigour and motivation. Firstly, the girls and boys tested their construction skills by building spaghetti marshmallow towers, demonstrating their astonishing structural engineering skills. We then introduced our young engineers to our professions and projects with short presentations and interviews at the workplace.
After work comes pleasure: A shared lunch was followed by impressive construction site experiences. In Zurich, the 5 little blue helmets went in search of the 3 stars hidden in the imposing shell of the MACH commercial building on the Koch site.
In Lausanne-Prilly, our 3 junior employees climbed the many floors of the rapidly growing Tilia Tower© and enjoyed the sunny view. Of course, they were accompanied by engineers and designers who explained the supporting structures and the construction process in an age-appropriate manner.
Many thanks to our young visitors! Thanks to your visible enthusiasm and activity, we really enjoyed spending the day with you. See you again in the future! We would also like to thank all those involved in Zurich and Lausanne who made the success of the Future Day possible with their great commitment.
