The eagerly awaited KTH2022 contact meeting is casting its yellow and blue shadow. As has often been the case in the past, the career fair will be supplemented by a number of side events that will provide students with useful help in getting started and orienting themselves in their important journey towards professional practice. This evening, “Insights into professional life” awaits interested participants. In short presentations, young engineers will share their first (project) experiences in the world of work, talk about the demanding transition from school to everyday work, and discuss the opportunities and pitfalls of entering professional life.

We are pleased that Lüchinger+Meyer can make a contribution to this secondary event. Roman Salzmann, a graduate of the ETH Zurich, who was able to realise an ideal career in our office, rising up from trainee to junior project manager, will trace his decision making during the application process, present the office and outline his first important experiences made through various projects in his talk “My transition from studies to work”. The spectrum ranges from projects in Berlin to ones in the canton of Aargau, from a demanding conversion of a historical monument to the construction of a new laboratory with an ambitious application of BIM. Roman will be happy to answer your questions and to continue the discussion at our KTH stand L37 next Tuesday.
