The replacement construction, assigned by the Eisenbahner-Baugenossenschaft Zurich-Altstetten, was built at the Luggwegstrasse, Hohlstrasse and Baslerstrasse. The building with tilted, u-shaped floor plan is used for flats and office as well as commercial premises. The basement floor comprises basement, technical and storage rooms as well as the development to the adjoining underground car park in the inner courtyard. On the ground floor a multipurpose use of flats and commercial premises is realised. The upper floors are used as rental flats.

The support structure of the eight stories high building forms a pane-construction with reinforced concrete and masonry walls as well as flat ceilings. The stairwells pass through all floors and are built in exposed concrete. On side of the courtyard balconies which are horizontally attached at the building stand in front of the flats.
