The building typology of the surrounding neighborhood was taken up in the new replacement building on Gartenhofstrasse: Three individual, densely packed four- and five-story buildings house 40 rental apartments with 2½ to 4½ rooms. Studio and commercial space is available on the ground floor. An underground garage connects the buildings.
Reinforced concrete walls and slabs form the structure. The loggias are connected with cantilever slabs. A green pergola was added to the washhouse, which was renovated and expanded according to criteria of conservation value, creating an atmospheric place of tranquility.
