An extension was added to the existing, partly historic building ensemble of the Clinic Schloss Mammern. As a new park wing, the bed wing adjoins the existing building to the northeast. The four-story building contains 22 superior rooms and 6 double and 6 lakefront suites, as well as a cafeteria and a dining room. In addition, a new one-story entrance building was realized, with a staircase in the northern area connecting to the corridor on the garden floor of the physiotherapy building.
The load-bearing structures of the buildings are characterized by skeleton structures consisting of prefabricated reinforced concrete columns and in-situ concrete walls and flat slabs. The buildings are stabilized by means of reinforced concrete earthquake walls. In the area of the connection to the existing building, several adjustments had to be made. In some areas, the existing masonry timber stud walls were demolished and replaced by a steel structure. Likewise, non-continuous wooden beams were replaced in the area of openings.
