With a three-voice majority to a new school landscape
A ballot box vote took place in Konolfingen on 25th of November and a narrow lead of only three votes (990x “yes”, 987x “no”) paved the way for the realization of the new school landscape of Stalden. The district council, our civil engineers and façade planners were happy about this “democratic starting signal”. The next step of the successful competition project will be the deeper planning and execution. We are absolutely convinced to win over the currently critical part of the commune with the completion of this forward-looking concept schoolhouse.
Themed on “learn together, belong together, create together” the project strives for a modern school landscape that focuses on learning from and with each other. Bright, welcoming and flexible rooms with multifunctional equipment, good orientation and retreat zones as well as differently designed outdoor spaces will be available to primary school students in the future. Teamwork across all age groups will be encouraged.
