High up in the Far East
The Barilga Expo construction trade fair will take place in the Mongolian capital of Ulaanbaatar from April 13 to 16, 2012. The swissmade mongolia team, which also includes Dr. Lüchinger+Meyer’s construction and facade engineers, will be presenting itself once again as part of this exhibition. After the Circus Tower in 2011, another high-rise project is now being presented.
The BT Tower, a zero emission building, was developed by the interdisciplinary swissmade mongolia team. The extreme climatic conditions – temperature fluctuations from -45°C to +45°C had to be taken into account – as well as the high seismic effects, which far exceed Central European standards, posed the greatest challenges for the technical planning.
Dr. Lüchinger+Meyer Bauingenieure AG are responsible for the Façade Engineering and the development of the building structure.
