“Ready to flight” was the motto on December 1, 2011. The new Dock B at Zurich Airport was opened for business after a construction period of one and a half years. The next logical step is “Take off” – an exhibition in the new visitor area of Dock B – which uses large-format artistic photographs, film projections and architectural models to vividly document the mammoth “Zurich 2010” project with which Zurich Airport implemented the Schengen Agreement. The presentation will be accompanied by various side events.
Among the first visitors will certainly be the planners of Dr. Lüchinger+Meyer Bauingenieure AG. Together with Burckhardt+Partner Architekten they successfully carried out the conversion and new construction of Dock B from the preliminary project to its realisation in 48 months of project planning time.
Take off, 7-16 May 2012, Dock B Visitors’ Room, Zurich Airport
