Robust elegance
The elegance of bare concrete and steel surfaces can be admired on Campus Baufeld 1, Suurstoffi area in Rotkreuz. The most part of it will remain unchanged when expansion is completed. A dominant element of the buildings design, made by the workgroup around Büro Konstrukt / Manetsch Meyer, are large surfaces of decorative concrete. Not long to go and the premises can be used by the students and employees of the Lucerne University of Applied Sciences.
By August 2019, the Institute of Financial Services IFZ and the Institute of Computer Science will find their new home in this building. After the completion of the shell construction work on House B and the previous completion of the high-rise building “Abro,” the planning team of Lüchinger+Meyer now turns into the third and final stage with the realization of House C. We have been working on this 175 million project since the competition success in 2016.
