Triple sports hall Kantonsschule Wettingen
The spacious new triple sports hall was handed over to the pupils of the Kantonsschule Wettingen in time for the start of school. The hall was inaugurated in the presence of the government council and Landammann as well as the schoolchildren and teachers on September 7. An open day followed on September 8.
The triple sports hall extends over a floor plan of 50m x 29m and was planned by :mlzd and Lüchinger+Meyer. The special feature of the construction is that the entire volume is constructed as an underground structure out of respect for the listed monastery view. After completion of the new football field, the football will roll over the roof of the hall. Nevertheless, daylight enters the hall through a public passageway.
