Wide span, stacked and hybrid
The new Competence Center for Top Athletics and Research OYM in Cham will be the focus of our contribution to steelday 2018. As a kind of preview, our office team had the opportunity on August 13 to marvel at the construction of this extraordinary structure on site. With the expert support of our two project managers Reto Furrer and Ivo Niederberger, we roamed the construction site, which was very varied in terms of design.
The training centre for top-class sport with its diverse uses is to be completed as early as 2020. Lüchinger+Meyer’s structural engineers, designers and facade planners make every effort to meet the sporting schedule.
