Spa architecture in Appenzell
The indoor swimming pool in Appenzell needs to be replaced by a new building. The suggested project “nemo” – developed by jessenvollenweider architecture and Lüchinger+Meyer – wasn’t recommended for the execution, but received a 3rd place.
The proposed structure is simple, clearly structured and sustainably constructed. It was well received by the jurors. They praised the construction as “conclusively developed of the building structure”.
