Our current favorite read is the May edition of the journal Beton- und Stahlbetonbau, published by Ernst & Sohn. Hans Seelhofer describes in his article „Fernwärmezentrale Waldau, St. Gallen – Ein ungewöhnliches Hallentragwerk in Betonbauweise“, the design and realization of the exceptional concrete structure. Furthermore an image of the building, taken by photographer Katalin Deér, was chosen as cover Picture.
