Ligth, bevelled, elegant.

For once, the unmistakable supporting structure of the Stade de la Tuilière forms only the visual framework and we leave the stage to the façade.  In his article “Light, bevelled, elegant“, published in the latest edition of Architektur+Technik, project manager Philippe Willareth explains the construction and characteristics of the representative main façade of the new football stadium.

A separation of the building envelope into an inner functional façade and an outer façade cladding forms the basic conceptual design. This enabled the realisation of the elegant appearance of a glass curtain while at the same time fulfilling the utilisation and maintenance requirements.
