Suurstoffi for everyone

For four years now, we have been simultaneously involved in two outstanding projects on the Suurstoffi site in Rotkreuz – both in the new construction of the Aglaya garden high-rise in the centre and in the newly built campus of the HSLU in the west of the site – and Lüchinger+Meyer is a member of the planning team. Many of our employees contributed to the success of the projects.
We are now looking back with astonishment and pride at what has been achieved over the past four years. We were involved in successful competition teams, planned excavation pits, supporting structures and facades, prepared wind analyses, gathered valuable BIM experience, accompanied the demanding construction of the buildings, were delighted to receive awards and presented the project to interested parties on site and at the ETH. Both construction projects are now largely completed, our work is done.

The motto is “First the work, then the pleasure.” we will certainly be represented in large numbers at the Suurstoffi Open Day, which will take place on the area on 14th of September. From 10am to 6pm the quarter will introduce itself, doors to schools and companies will be opened, exhibitions will inform about the activities on the area and cultural entertainment and a wide range of culinary delights will not be missing. Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts is opening its new Zug-Rotkreuz campus embedded in this folk festival. In addition to a visit to the brand-new premises, visitors can also look forward to a varied programme with vivid presentations of the disciplines housed on the campus.
