In view of the comprehensive digital change processes in the construction industry, which are reflected in the rapidly growing number of BIM projects, the profession of draughtsman EFZ Civil Engineering has developed into one of the most challenging and exciting apprenticeship. That’s our opinion!
In addition to the important classical tasks of component design, plan development and construction inspections, there is a growing demand for virtuoso work in 3D models, model-based exchange and use of information, always in close cooperation with planning partners. The technical designer is one of the key figures in the digital planning process.
We would like to invite upper class level students to apply for an apprenticeship as a draftsman (EFZ Civil Engineering) starting in summer 2020 in our Zurich office
(application details). We expect our applicants to be enthusiastic for building, planning and using digital tools. We will take care, during the four-year training period, that this fascination does not fade away and that it is encouraged by active participation in our multiple projects.
