The constructive lunchtime snack

«Plenus venter non studet libenter. – You can’t study on a full stomach.» that is what motivated, civil engineer students knows. Therefore the students of Hönggerberg did not head to the canteens but to the lunchtime colloquium, on 7th of March. The practical seminar, organised by the Academic engineers’ association (AIV), is characterised by the Aglaya garden residential tower. This flagship project of the Suurstoffi-area in Rotkreuz is nearly completed.

Lüchinger+Meyer has been responsible for the structure- and façade planning of the 70 metres high residential tower and also carried out the wind engineering. Willing listeners will get a vivid insight into the complex support structure of the 24-storey building during the presentation of Daniel Meyer. He will also describe the challenges with which the BIM pioneering project required the participating actors.
